ZODIAX I is Jakspin's first EP, following his two beat tapes, "The Chillhop Era" and "Levitation", and sets the direction for the Zodiax quadrilogy dedicated to the star signs and the four elements. "ZODIAX I" is all about the zodiac signs of pisces, cancer, scorpio and their common element water. JAKSPIN delved deep into the abyss, the emotionality, their kindness, the melancholy, fluidity and sensitivity of water signs. Reduced to the core elements, each song is an intense stirring journey to underwater soundscapes, always entwined around concisely knocking hip hop beats.

On „Levitation“ two of Jakspin's main things in life come together: spirituality and music. The Germany based producer is a student of far east spirituality and loves to meditate. He made the soundtrack to his inner journey on this 12 song album. Dealing with life, love and death, the full circle of Samsara. Levitation stands for lifting up, growing and transcending. Musically the album consists of original material with very few samples. Jakspin plays all instruments and realized his concept of lofi meeting soulful jazz in an exceptional way.
